Say hello to our newest team member at Handshouse! We are elated to expand our staff to welcome Eva Carter (they/them) on staff as an Assistant Director for the fall. Eva is joining us to support Marie with the breadth of administrative-organizational work required to orchestrate the unique types of programming Handshouse offers.
In collaboration with Dr. Lindsay Cook: Professor of Art History and Susan Boynton: Professor of Music, Handshouse Studio brought the Notre-Dame Project to Columbia University to exhibiting our model of La Forêt during a performance of the Gregorian Choir of Paris.

This past spring, Handshouse organized a strategic planning intensive that helped us understand 5 “bridges” we needed to build to overcome obstacles to our organization’s future. One of these bridges is expanded leadership. So we went spent the summer vetting and invited seven new members to the Board of Directors!

On March 15-17, 2024: sixteen Handshouse directors and advisors gathered in Norwell, MA for a 3-day intensive strategic planning workshop to collaboratively consider the future of the organization.
