Photo montage: The Zabludow Synagogue Model and timber framers demonstrating traditional building methods that would have been used to make the Synagogue in 17th C. At the Zabludow Model workshop we combined mading the model with a demonstration of building methods of the time by felling trees, hewing timbers and layout and cutting joinery using only axes. Petr Ruzicka, traditional carpenter from Czech Republic gave the demonstration using his own custom axes that he made based on historical drawings and painting of the period.
